Ready to level up? In this hands-on class, students will design and code their own retro-style arcade games using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. Starting with simple block coding, they’ll progress toward reading and writing small bits of JavaScript as they add animations, scoring systems, and enemies. Each week introduces new game design concepts—from collision detection to power-ups—culminating in a fully original arcade game built by the student.
