In this class, we learn all about the FIRST Lego League Challenge program.  We explore how to design, build, and code robots, as well as how to develop individual strengths and talents WHILE working as a team! This is the class to choose if your 10 year-old would eventually like to participate on one of our competition FLL teams,

Interactive Science

Class for 3rd-5th Grade

FALL SESSION

Every Monday

Sep 9 - Nov 4

9:00 am - 10 am

A fun, hands-on exploratory science class for elementary school students. This is a great supplemental class for students at about a 3rd-5th grade level.  It is not curriculum based, as we're teaching to multiple levels, but we will reinforce key concepts with hands-on experiential learning, fun games, creative notebooking, and clever manipulatives.  Our goal is for the kids to have so much fun they don't even realize they are learning!

A fun, hands-on exploratory class for primary school students. We'll dive in to various engaging science, technology, engineering. and even some "munchable" math  activities.

Season begins at kickoff:

(Meetings begin Sep 5)

Students will prepare and compete in the 2024-25 FIRST Lego League Challenge, called SUBMERGED

We will design, build, and code a team robot; conduct and present a research project related to the theme;  practice important soft skills like oral presentation,  research, arts/crafts, etc; and develop core values like teamwork, inclusion, and innovation.

from the Middle School and High School Programs section of the registration form.
