Camp for 4 and 5 year-olds

Mon-Fri 2 pm-4 pm

Multiple Sessions Available

Fee includes Camp T-shirt

One week of Discovery in various fun applications of Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology. We use Lego We-Do robotics kits, building instructions from Lego and Roborise It, and each child’s limitless imagination to learn, build, and program, all with a heavy dose of educational PLAY!

Explore Camp

Camp for 6 and 7 year-olds

Mon-Fri 11:30 am-1:30 pm

Multiple Sessions Available

Fee includes Camp T-shirt

One week of Exploration in various hands-on applications of Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology. We use Lego We-Do robotics kits, building instructions from Lego& Roborise-It, and each child’s limitless imagination to play, learn, build, experiment, and have a grand time!!

One week of genuine hands-on engineering experience and training. Students learn basics of building, design, and coding using Lego EV3 Robotics kits, building instructions from Lego and Roborise-It, and each child’s unique creativity, to explore the world of modern robotics.

Vex IQ Camp

Camp for 11 to 14 year-olds

Mon-Fri 12:30 pm-2:30 pm

July 3-7, 2023

Fee includes Camp T-shirt

One week of robot-building fun. At this Robot Olympics themed camp, students will build and code Vex IQ robots to play soccer, run races, and more.

 

If you are joining us in the morning for Challenge Camp, feel free to stay and eat your sack lunch with us before we start Vex IQ in the afternoon.

Challenge Camp

Camp for 10 to 14 year-olds

Mon-Fri 10 am-12 noon

July 3-7, 2023

Fee includes Camp T-shirt

One week of genuine hands-on engineering experience and training. Students learn basics of the FIRST Lego League Challenge program using Lego Spike Prime kits and training instructions from Lego.  Each student will build and program a robot to accomplish missions on the competition table.

We'll meet together summer Saturdays to work (in small teams) to design and build robots to compete in the VexIQ Slapshot Challenge. Session culminates with a celebration tournament on July 29

We'll meet together summer Saturdays for structured classes where students will learn to use mechanical advantage to build intakes, transfers, and deposit systems.  Intermediate skills of linear motion will also be introduced.
